What can I do without an account?
Browse the map, truck and venue profiles, menus, and schedule for free. Create an account when you want to book, order, save favorites, follow trucks, earn rewards, or message a truck or venue.
Which account should I create?
Choose a consumer account if you are looking for food, placing orders, or requesting catering. Choose a truck account if you operate a food truck, or a venue account if you manage a property that hosts trucks. One person can belong to more than one organization.
For trucks and venues
Can a truck find a venue without already having one assigned?
Yes. A truck can open its profile, search published venue openings, find same-day or last-minute opportunities, and set a travel radius so results stay practical. It does not need an existing venue relationship before getting started.
How does a booking work?
Either side can start. A truck can request an open venue time, or a venue can invite a truck. Both sides review the date, hours, requirements, money, and cancellation terms. Once the same terms are accepted, required signatures are complete, and any required payment succeeds, the booking becomes confirmed.
What does scheduled, checked in, and open now mean?
Scheduled means an accepted booking exists. Checked in means the truck has reported arrival or the venue has confirmed it. Open now means the truck has actively started service. A schedule alone does not claim that a truck is already on site.
Orders, catering, and payments
Can I order ahead?
Yes, when a truck is open for ordering at a venue. Open its profile, choose items from the live menu, place your order, and follow updates from accepted to ready. If a truck is not currently taking orders, the profile will say so.
How does catering work?
Use Request catering on a truck's profile to share your event date, location, guest count, and contact details. The truck can follow up, send a quote, and collect payment in the app after you accept. A catering inquiry is separate from a venue booking.
When do fees apply?
Creating an account, browsing, publishing a venue, and requesting a booking are not charged a monthly platform fee. Marketplace fees apply only to eligible successful payments processed through Foodtruck Spot. See Pricing for current plan details and the exact fee treatment for bookings, orders, and catering.
Your account and updates
What do I get by creating a consumer account?
You can save favorite trucks and meals, follow appearances, receive updates, place orders, request catering, earn visit and distance badges, and unlock rewards from participating trucks.
Where do my new bookings, catering requests, and orders appear?
New booking, catering, and order updates appear on the user icon in the top-right corner when you are signed in. Open it for a preview and quick links to the relevant account or organization page. You can also review notification settings under Account.
Can I control notifications and location sharing?
Yes. Choose which favorite-truck updates you receive, set a notification radius and quiet hours, and enable or remove push notifications by device. Location is optional: search by city or address instead of sharing your current location.
How do I request an accessibility accommodation or report a barrier?
We aim to align with WCAG 2.2 AA. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need help completing a task in another format, select 'Accessibility barrier / accommodation' in the contact form below or review our Accessibility Statement.
