Marketplace Policies

Effective Date: September 14, 2026

1. Listings and verification

Operators must submit accurate information and any documents requested for the applicable verification level. Foodtruck Spot may review identity, business details, licenses, permits, insurance, ownership, payout information, and other risk signals, but a review is limited to the information and time period examined.

A verification badge is not a guarantee of food safety, licensing, insurance, financial condition, quality, legality, or performance. Users must make their own decisions and should request current documentation directly when appropriate. We may label, limit, hide, reject, or remove a listing that is incomplete, unverified, misleading, unsafe, inactive, or out of compliance.

2. Booking and cancellation rules

The truck and venue are responsible for agreeing to clear dates, times, setup and cleanup windows, capacity, requirements, fees, guarantees, deposits, cancellation deadlines, weather and force-majeure treatment, no-show rules, and refund obligations. The accepted booking term version controls the Platform workflow. A venue or truck must not rely on an outdated message, draft, or profile statement when the booking record says otherwise.

A party should cancel through the Platform as soon as it knows it cannot perform. A cancellation may trigger the accepted cancellation terms, payment reversal, refund, fee treatment, payout adjustment, or a dispute. Nothing in these policies waives rights that cannot legally be waived, including applicable consumer, payment, or emergency rights.

3. Orders, catering, refunds, and chargebacks

An order is between the customer and the truck. The truck controls menu accuracy, allergen information, preparation, pickup readiness, fulfillment, and order-status updates. A customer should cancel or request help promptly through the available order flow. Once preparation has begun, cancellation or refund eligibility may be limited by the seller's disclosed policy and applicable law.

A catering inquiry is not necessarily a confirmed booking. A quote, acceptance, payment, and any cancellation or refund terms should be recorded in the applicable transaction. Refunds may be full, partial, pending, failed, or unavailable depending on the accepted terms, payment state, provider rules, and law. Users must not submit duplicate or fraudulent refund requests or chargebacks; legitimate payment-provider rights remain available.

4. Disputes, evidence, and no-shows

If a booking's arrival, check-in, completion, cancellation, no-show, payment, or refund is contested, an eligible party may use the Platform's dispute flow or contact support. We may request contracts, messages, receipts, photos, check-in records, timestamps, notices, or other relevant evidence. Do not submit false, manipulated, private, or unlawfully obtained material.

Platform review is an operational process, not a court judgment, insurance determination, health inspection, or guarantee of recovery. We may preserve records, pause a payout, limit an account, issue or decline a platform-controlled refund, correct a status, or refer the matter to a payment provider or authorities. Emergency, safety, health, or criminal matters should be reported to the appropriate public authority immediately.

5. Reviews and user content

Reviews and ratings must reflect a real eligible interaction and be relevant, honest, specific, and free from threats, discrimination, extortion, conflicts of interest, personal data, and undisclosed paid influence. Reviews may not be conditioned on a particular rating or used to pressure another user into bypassing Platform rules.

We may moderate, delay, label, restrict, or remove content that violates law, these policies, the Terms, another person's rights, or the integrity of the marketplace. We may retain moderation records and provide an appeal path where required or offered. A reported review may remain visible while it is reviewed unless safety, legal, or integrity concerns require temporary removal.

6. Safety, food, and property responsibilities

Operators and hosts are responsible for applicable food safety, allergen disclosure, permits, inspections, insurance, accessibility, employment, tax, zoning, fire, sanitation, waste, generator, noise, parking, alcohol, and property rules. Foodtruck Spot does not inspect or certify food, kitchens, vehicles, premises, ingredients, allergen controls, or legal compliance.

Users should communicate material accessibility, dietary, safety, arrival, utility, and site requirements before accepting terms. Do not consume food or enter a property if you believe doing so presents an immediate risk. Report urgent safety concerns to the appropriate authority and notify Foodtruck Spot so we can take appropriate Platform action.

7. Enforcement and appeals

Foodtruck Spot may warn, require corrections, limit visibility, pause transactions or payouts, suspend, terminate, or permanently restrict a user, organization, truck, venue, listing, review, or feature for safety concerns, suspected fraud, nonpayment, policy or Terms violations, inaccurate information, legal requests, or risk to the marketplace. Action may be taken before a final investigation when necessary to reduce immediate risk.

Where an appeal is available, the affected user should provide a concise explanation and relevant evidence through the designated channel. We may maintain confidential safety, fraud, legal, or third-party information that cannot be disclosed. These policies do not create a promise that every report will result in a particular outcome or that Foodtruck Spot will resolve a private dispute.

8. Policy changes and contact

We may update these policies as the Platform, marketplace risks, or applicable law changes. We will post the current version and effective date and provide additional notice where required. Operated by Food Truck Spot LLC, 946 E Michigan St Apt B, Orlando, FL 32806 (support@foodtruckspot.com).
