When is there no marketplace fee?
When no payment moves through FoodTruckSpot, such as browsing, creating a listing, sending a request, or confirming a no-fee arrangement. New organizations also receive their first 10 eligible paid transactions fee-free.
Who pays on a booking?
The business sending the payment. A truck pays the marketplace fee when paying a site fee; a venue pays it when funding a Guarantee. The rate does not change based on which side pays.
Who pays on an order or catering payment?
The customer pays the displayed food price and any applicable tax. The truck absorbs the FoodTruckSpot marketplace fee from what it receives.
What about card processing?
Payment processing is separate from FoodTruckSpot's marketplace fee. The estimated processing cost and any applicable tax are shown before payment so the total is not a surprise.
