Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: September 14, 2026

1. Subscription cancellations

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically through Stripe unless canceled before the next renewal date. Cancel through the Foodtruck Spot billing portal or the method shown at checkout. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid term, and fees already paid are not refundable unless the Terms, Stripe's rules, or applicable law requires otherwise.

We will provide any renewal, material-change, acknowledgment, and cancellation notices required by applicable law, including Florida automatic-renewal requirements where they apply. Consumers retain any non-waivable cooling-off, withdrawal, chargeback, or other statutory right available in their jurisdiction.

2. Booking cancellations

A booking's accepted term version controls its cancellation deadlines, fees, deposits, guarantees, weather provisions, no-show treatment, and refund obligations. Before accepting or paying, review the applicable terms and ask the other party to clarify anything material. If no term is shown, do not assume that a cancellation is free or that a refund is guaranteed.

Cancel through the Platform as soon as you know you cannot perform. A cancellation may change booking status, release the calendar, reverse or retain funds, adjust a payout, or create a dispute record. Foodtruck Spot is not the party that promised to perform the booking and does not replace the parties' agreed cancellation terms.

3. Orders and catering

An order is placed with the food truck shown at checkout. Cancellation and refund eligibility can depend on the order status, whether preparation has begun, the truck's disclosed policy, payment-provider rules, and applicable law. Contact the truck or use the available order support flow promptly if an order is incorrect, delayed, unavailable, or unsafe.

A catering inquiry is not automatically a booking. A quote becomes actionable only when the parties accept the applicable terms and any required payment succeeds. Catering cancellation and refund treatment should be stated in the quote or accepted terms; mandatory consumer protections still apply where relevant.

4. No-shows, weather, and disputes

If a truck or venue does not perform, arrives materially late, or cannot proceed because of weather, safety, access, or another event, follow the booking's stated process and document the facts. Either eligible party may use the Platform's no-show or dispute flow. We may request check-in records, messages, photos, receipts, or other evidence before taking action.

A Platform review may result in a status correction, a Platform-controlled refund or payment adjustment, a payout hold, or no change. It is not a guarantee of recovery and does not prevent you from using a payment-provider, regulatory, insurance, emergency, or legal process where appropriate.

5. Processing and timing

When a refund is approved, Foodtruck Spot or its payment provider may show it as pending before the original payment method receives the funds. Timing depends on the payment provider and financial institution. A failed or partial refund may require support review. Duplicate refunds, fraudulent claims, and unjustified chargebacks may be reversed or investigated.

Operated by Food Truck Spot LLC, 946 E Michigan St Apt B, Orlando, FL 32806. Payment processing provided by Stripe, Inc. Contact support@foodtruckspot.com for refund inquiries. This policy does not limit non-waivable statutory rights.
